Developing and growing our teams
We invest highly in developing and growing our teams, which enables them to gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to continue providing personalised care and support. Our employees play a vital role in providing this support and we are committed to ensuring working with us makes a positive difference to our employees lives as well as to the lives of the people we support.
Muller is a Next Steps employee, working within one of our services in Hertfordshire. He was originally employed with us as a Support Worker and after displaying strong leadership skills and commitment, he was promoted to Deputy Team Leader.
Our commitment to your personal professional development starts from the moment you join one of our teams. Many of our colleagues are currently studying for a range of qualifications and different specialisations. We provide most training in house, facilitated by our experienced team of trainers and mentors. We take pride that our training programmes are continuously developed and can made bespoke in line with the work that you are undertaking.
Training is conducted through individual coaching and mentoring, in small or large groups, workshops and attendance at development and focus sessions to promote positive behaviour support. We want to see you succeed and are committed to your growing personal career development.
